We are looking for a dynamic, certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to join our team as an Instructor, Coach and Consultant (24-32 hours a week), helping organisations in the UK achieve their continuous improvement goals.
Role Overview
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Instructor, you will be critical in delivering high-quality training, coaching and consulting services to our clients. You will lead Lean and Lean Six Sigma courses and provide hands-on coaching and consulting support to organisations implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Lean Six Sigma training: Conduct training courses across various levels (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, and Black Belt), ensuring participants achieve certification and gain practical skills.
- Consulting services: Provide expert consulting to clients on Lean Six Sigma projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational excellence strategies.
- Mentoring and coaching: Guide individuals and teams through their Lean Six Sigma projects, offering mentorship, coaching, and feedback to ensure successful project completion.
- Course development: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials, case studies, and exercises to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge and relevant.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable results.
- Travel: Occasionally travel across the UK to deliver on-site training, coaching and consulting as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification: Accredited certification is required.
- Training experience: Proven experience in delivering Lean Six Sigma courses.
- Experience: A background in process- and continuous improvement, with a track record of successful Lean Six Sigma project implementation and process improvements.
- Coaching and mentoring skills: Excellent ability to coach, mentor, and inspire individuals and teams.
- Communication and presentation skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences and convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset: Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the UK as needed.
